Affiliate Disclosure

Scendira is free to use, and we make money through affiliate links. Here is exactly how that works, in plain English.
What an affiliate link is
When you click through from a Scendira product page to a retailer such as Amazon or a brand's own store, that link may carry a tracking code. If you buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission.
It costs you nothing
You pay the same price you would have paid going to that retailer directly. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.
It does not influence what we recommend
This is the part that matters. No brand can pay to appear on Scendira, to rank higher, to be recommended by Dira, or to have a negative note removed. Our scores and rankings come from what real buyers said about a fragrance, not from what anyone paid us.
We link to some retailers we earn nothing from, because they were the right place to buy that particular fragrance. We also publish the honest downside of fragrances we earn commission on, including telling you when something is not worth buying or when you should sample it first.
We do not sell fragrances
Scendira does not hold stock, take payment, or ship anything. Every purchase happens on the retailer's own site, under their terms, their pricing, and their returns policy. If something goes wrong with an order, the retailer is who you need to contact.
Programmes we participate in
We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We also link to other fragrance retailers, some of which have affiliate programmes and some of which do not.
