Ilba by Tiziana Terenzi is a fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Ilba was launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Paolo Terenzi. Top notes are Japanese Cherry Blossom, Apricot Blossom, Lavender, Juniper and Jasmine Sambac; middle notes are Peach Blossom, Musk, Cherry and Magnolia; base notes are Birch, Juniper, Strawberry, Elm and Ambergris. When sailing across the crystal-clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Island of Elba reveals itself in all its majestic beauty. During one of their explorations, Paolo and Tiziana were enraptured by the island’s timeless atmosphere—an enchanting place steeped in legend, local tradition, and a rare, unspoiled natural landscape. Of the many tales shared by the locals, one story in particular resonated deeply with them: the legend of Princess Alba and the Knight Sabino, two kindred spirits in love, yet fated to be separated by divine will. The Goddess Venus, guardian of their dreams, transformed the island into their sanctuary. However, for failing to pay her homage, she cursed their love to an eternity of longing and sorrow. It is said that Alba’s lament still echoes among the Roman ruins of the Grotte di Portoferraio—a haunting call of undying hope, awakening the hearts of those who listen. Paolo Coelho once wrote: “I have learnt that the world has a soul, and that whoever understands that soul can also understand the language of things.” These words capture the very essence of Elba, where each trail, each whisper of the wind, each fruit of the earth conveys a universal message beyond time and space.
